This is the season of remembrance—a time to honor those who came before us, and to feel the quiet, enduring presence of loved ones who’ve passed on.

Creating a small space of remembrance in your home can be a beautiful way to invite that connection.

Ways to Create a Space of Remembrance:

  • Gather photographs or keepsakes of loved ones who have passed. Place them in a spot where you can see them often.

  • Add a candle or soft light. Lighting a flame can be a symbol of guidance, warmth, and memory.

  • Bring nature indoors. Seasonal flowers, leaves, or even a small bowl of autumn fruit can honor the cycle of life.

  • Offer words of love. Write a note or whisper your thoughts—gratitude, memories, or simply “I miss you.”

 Other Gentle Ways to Connect:

  • Cook a favorite recipe that a loved one used to make and enjoy it in their honor.

  • Play a song that reminds you of them, letting the melody open your heart.

  • Take a quiet walk in nature and invite their presence through memories and sensations.

These simple acts are a way of saying: I remember you. I carry you with me. Your love is still alive in my life.
